Synopsis
A scientist has invented a machine which can render a man of virtue
immensely fortunate. It is thanks to this miraculous device that
Lucien Lepur, a hawker of impeccable reputation, becomes a stupendously
wealthy financier. Alas, Lucien’s success in business does not
bring him happiness...
