On fait comme on a dit is a French crime film first released in 2000, directed by Philippe Bérenger.  The film stars Gad Elmaleh, Atmen Kelif, Yvan Le Bolloc’h, Gilbert Melki and Sophie Guillemin.  Our overall rating for this film is: good.


Three friends, all in their thirties, are making preparations for what they are sure will be the heist of the century.  They intend to rob a bank, aided by Séverine, the girlfriend of one of the men, who works there as a cashier.  Things get off to a bad start when the would-be crooks lose their transport and end up having to take a bus to the bank.  After that, things go from bad to worse and it soon becomes apparent that none of the three friends is suited for a life of crime.  It doesn’t help when they are double-crossed by a professional gangster...
