Synopsis
Maxence Lafourcade leads a peaceful bachelor existence, rearing pigs in
the Pyrenean mountains. He is appalled when he learns that a
motorway is to be built straight through his mountain retreat,
destroying his home, his farm and his livelihood. Determined not
to be beaten, Maxence jettisons his long-held prejudices and enlists
the support of a retired American, Peter Konchelsky, and eco-warrior
Inès to thwart the development...
