Summary
In an Algerian village, Mounir is ridiculed on account of his sister
Rym’s narcolepsy but his attempts to win his neighbours’ respect seem
doomed to fail. One evening, having imbibed one drink too many,
he publicly announces that his sister is betrothed to a wealthy foreign
businessman. This immediately changes everyone’s view of Mounir
but the truth is that it is his best friend who intends to marry Rym...
