Overview
Liza is a French romantic film drama first released in 1972,
directed by Marco Ferreri.
The film stars Catherine Deneuve, Marcello Mastroianni, Corinne Marchand, Michel Piccoli and Claudine Berg.
It has also been released under the title: Love to Eternity.

Synopsis
During a yachting trip, Liza gets into an argument with her friends and
jumps overboard. She swims ashore and finds herself on a
small island whose only inhabitants are a hermit, Giorgio, and his dog,
Molampo. Liza takes an immediate liking to Giorgio, who has made
a nice home for himself in a rock, where he wiles away the hours
struggling to invent stories for comic books. Giorgio allows his
visitor to spend the night with him, but he insists that she must go
the following morning. Liza has other ideas...
