Synopsis
François is a modest journalist who is not particularly enthused when his boss invites him to write an article on the ordinary French worker.  Acting on the advice of a union official, he pays a call on a man named Claude, but he arrives in a moment of crisis.   Claude is in a state of shock after his wife Lily left him and he is in no mood to talk about his work.  François makes several valiant attempts to restore Claude’s spirits, but in vain.  The only solution is to bring Lily and Claude back together again, but this proves to be much harder than even François imagined...
