Les Trois mousquetaires: La vengeance de Milady is a French-Italian adventure film first released in 1961, directed by Bernard Borderie.  The film is based on a novel by Alexandre Dumas père and stars Gérard Barray, Mylène Demongeot, Perrette Pradier, Georges Descrières and Bernard Woringer.  It has also been released under the title: Vengeance of the Three Musketeers.  Our overall rating for this film is: good.

Synopsis
Whilst delivering a message to the queen, D'Artagnan is arrested by Richelieu and thrown into prison.  His friends, the three musketeers, wonder how they are to rescue him, knowing that he is to be executed at dawn.  Against all probability, D'Artagnan is saved by Richelieu’s calculating accomplice. Miladay.  The young swordsman is appalled when his rescuer reveals Richelieu’s terrible scheme to discredit the queen...
