Summary
Luigi and Lucilla live with their two children, Lidia et Berto, in a
small Italian port on the Mediterranean. Lidia has begun to take
an interest in boys, and her younger brother, Berto, and his friend
Ario, are increasingly curious about Lidia’s amorous
flirtations. Ario has been told by his mother, Tina, that
his father is in San Francisco to attend a boating competition, but in
reality he is in prison. Ario and Berto begin to spy on Tina when
she starts an affair with the handsome dock worker Eneo. Lidia
too is interested in Eneo, but for very different reasons...
