Synopsis

Filmmaker Agnès Varda sets out to make an autobiographical documentary by revisiting all of the beaches that have had a marked impact on her life. Her early career, her life with Jacques Demy, her part in the feminist movement, her numerous overseas voyages – so many memories, so many experiences evoked by the sound of the waves crashing onto the seashore, like echoes from her past...
