Summary
In the centre of Le Vésinet, a leafy suburb of Paris, Yolande Simonnet lives a uneventful bourgeois life with her husband Pierre and their two children.  The only time she has for herself is when she goes into town to watch a movie.  On one of these excursions, she meets Georges, a young painter who is struggling to make a living by his craft.  It is love at first sight.  Aware of the difference in their social positions and ages, they decide to meet at a place where they are unlikely to be recognised. The place they choose is the railway station "les Pas Perdus"...
