Summary
In the 1920s, Albert Renaud, a young Canadian actor,
dreams of becoming a film star like his idol, Rudolf Valentino.
With a letter of commendation from an old actress, he sets out for
Los Angeles, hopeful of success. During his voyage, he gets
to know numerous bizarre individuals, including Grace Carson, a feminist
Mormon who holds an irresistible fascination for him ...
