Synopsis

Cécile (Claude Jade) lives with the old astrologer Lady Hanka. Her relationship to Thomas (Jean-Claude Dauphin) is uneventful. She meets a strange man, Van Britten (Gérard Barray) and she is fatally intrigued by him, as a bird by a snake. A short time later, Hanka is shot dead. Cécile knows the killer is Hermann, Van Britten’s Chauffeur. When Van Britten and Cécile are trying to escape, Van Britten is shot dead. Cécile studies the stars and horoscopes: "Venus in Capricorn, cold winter solitude"...
