Overview
Le Siffleur is a French crime film first released in 2010,
directed by Philippe Lefebvre.
The film is based on a novel by Laurent Chalumeau and stars François Berléand, Thierry Lhermitte, Sami Bouajila, Fred Testot and Virginie Efira.

Synopsis
Armand is living out his last few years before retirement in comfort
and style on the French Riviera. His clothes shop provides him
with a comfortable income and he happily divides his leisure time
between his two loves, his girlfriend Viviane and his favourite street
restaurant, l’Aline Roc. Armand could not ask for a more idyllic
life. Then he learns, to his horror, that l’Aline Roc is to be
sold to a property developer who intends to build in its place a hotel
for Russian millionaires. Mild mannered Armand has absolutely no
intention of letting this happen...
