Synopsis

Having inherited a vast fortune, a modest gendarme, Léon Ménard, attracts the attention of the queen Marika de Sergarie. He also attracts several fraudsters who succeed in robbing him of his newfound wealth. But, when he has lost everything, will he also lose the love of Marika...?
