Overview
Le Nouveau protocole is a French thriller film first released in 2008,
directed by Thomas Vincent.
The film stars Clovis Cornillac, Marie-Josée Croze, Dominique Reymond, Stéphane Hillel and Gilles Cohen.
It has also been released under the title: The New Protocol.

Synopsis
The peaceful world of Vosges forester Raoul Kraft is shattered when he
learns that his 18-year-old son has just died in a car accident.
The police are certain there are no suspicious circumstances, but a
short while later Raoul receives a visit from a strange young woman,
Diane, who gives him some disturbing information. Before his
death, Raoul’s son was taking part in early trials of a new drug
for a large pharmaceutical company. Diane’s theory is that the
side-effects of the drug may have resulted in the death of the young
man. Unsure whether to take Diane seriously, Raoul agrees to
accompany her to Paris to investigate the matter further. The
events that follow merely confirm Diane’s suspicions...
