Summary
40-something Agathe has been in a relationship with Jacky, a man twenty years her junior, for four years.  Recently, she has grown tired of his jealousy and sentimental behaviour and wants to end their affair.  Jacky does everything he can to please her, but it is too late.  Returning to Agathe’s villa, the couple are met by Agathe’s brother Edouard and Henri Dampier, her sick father’s personal physician.  Jacky’s suspicions that Dampier is his rival prove to be well-founded.  The doctor is in love with Agathe and plans to elope with her to Paris. That night, Edouard receives a call notifying him that Gillou, his ex-girlfriend, has just left prison and wants to see him.  Frightened, Edouard leaves the next day and heads off to Switzerland.  After a heated argument with Jacky, Agathe finally makes up her mind to leave him.  She has no idea that the return of Edouard will propel Jacky, Dampier, Gillou and herself into an unexpected drama...
