Summary
Bored with his work, a Parisian postman enlists in the Indochina
War. The camaraderie he finds there helps to make the hardships
of active service bearable. He and his friends are soon captured
by the enemy, but they succeed in escaping and it is not long before
the postman is back in Paris, resuming his former occupation.
