directed by Georg Wilhelm Pabst.
The film is based on a novel by Oscar Paul Gilbert and stars Raymond Rouleau, Louis Jouvet, Christl Mardayn and Elina Labourdette.
It has also been released under the title: The Shanghai Drama.
