  Anatole Litvak Dramastars 3
Summary
To escape a life of misery in Italy after the war, Lisa marries Robert Macklin, an unstable and jealous man.  In Paris, where she works in a beauty parlour, Lisa becomes increasingly distressed by Robert’s erratic behaviour.  One day, Robert has to go away for a business trip.  On the way to the airport, Lisa tells him about her intention to divorce him.  A few hours later, Lisa hears that her husband’s aeroplane has crashed and that there are apparently no survivors.  Lisa thinks that, at last, she can start a new life, but it isn’t so.  Robert did not take the aeroplane and returns to Paris incognito.  He coerces Lisa in a diabolical plan that will allow him to cash in on his life insurance...
