Summary
Tunisia, 1942. Myriam and Nour have been friends since
childhood. Now aged 16, they have become inseparable. They
inhabit the same building but are separated by religion. Myriam
is a Jew, Nour a Muslim. They live in an area where followers of
the two faiths live happily alongside one another. Nour is
about to be married to Karim, but her father is opposed to the union
because Karim has yet to find a job. When the Nazis enter the
city, the lives for the two girls will be changed forever...
