Synopsis
Dominique Marceau is in jail, charged with the murder of her lover,
Gilbert Tellier. As her trial proceeds, she calls to mind the
past events that led to her present predicament. We see her life
with her parents and her sister Annie, who was Gilbert’s
fiancée. Dominique seduced Gilbert for fun and lived her
own life, as a free woman with no job and seeing several men. We then
see her attempt to take her own life when Gilbert decides to leave her
and go back to Annie. Her lawyer is prepared to try anything to
save Dominique but the rules of society are against her. The
truth may not be enough to save Dominique...
