Overview
La Route Napoléon is a French film comedy first released in 1953,
directed by Jean Delannoy.
The film stars Pierre Fresnay, René Génin, Claude Laydu, Yvette Lucas and Marie Albe.
It has also been released under the title: Napoleon Road.

Synopsis
Publicist Edouard Martel sees an easy way to make money from gullible
tourists. He intends to arrange a series of sightseeing tours
along the route that the Emperor Napoleon took on his return from the
Island of Elba. When he is prevented from exploiting the only
authentic site on the route by some unhappy locals, he has no choice
but to come up with a few plausible alternatives....
