Summary
Julie de Hauranne is a young French actress who, despite having been
taught Portuguese by her mother, has never set foot in Portugal.
Then, one day, she arrives in Lisbon to make a film inspired by
Guilleragues’ Portuguese Letters. She becomes fascinated by the
people she meets, including a nun who prays every night in a hilltop
chapel. During her stay in Portugal, Julie begins to make
some sense of her life and sees her future more clearly...
