Overview
La Petite vertu is a French film comedy-drama first released in 1968,
directed by Serge Korber.
The film is based on a novel by James Hadley Chase and stars Dany Carrel, Jacques Perrin, Robert Hossein, Pierre Brasseur and Raymond Gérôme.
It has also been released under the title: A Little Virtuous.

Synopsis
Ferdinand, a young photographer, meets Claire, a supposed cover girl,
in a café. Although he is instantly attracted towards
Claire, Ferdinand soon learns that she is a professional thief, working
for her husband, a thug named Brady. Claire has had enough of her
criminal life and hopes to make a fresh start with Ferdinand. The
police have other ideas – she is arrested for theft and sent to prison
for one year. When she gets out Ferdinand is waiting for
her. And so is Brady...
