Summary
Neglected by her husband Marc, who is constantly absorbed in his work
as an architect, Thérèse Romanay becomes the mistress of
André Norans, one of their friends, who is himself married to
Simone. Eventually, Thérèse becomes guilt-stricken
and decides to end the affair, not knowing that Simone has already told
Marc about her infidelity. When Marc asks Thérèse
to leave his house, she goes away with André to the
mountains. One day, whilst climbing up a hazardous path,
André has a fatal accident and Thérèse is badly
injured...
