Synopsis
For Philippe Perrin, a young engineer, the construction of a dam becomes his life’s work and he devotes himself to this, his greatest accomplishment.  Unfortunately, Perrin's devotion to his work brings him into conflict with his colleague Bailly, who is equally committed to the project but is more concerned about numbers than people...
