Director: Jean Benoît-Lévy, Marie Epstein Starring: Madeleine Renaud, Alice Tissot, Paulette Élambert, Sylvette Fillacier, Mady Berry Synopsis A series of personal disasters leaves a young woman, Rose, without money, family or home.  After the death of her bankrupt father, she finds work as an attendant in a nursery school for children in a deprived area of Paris.  Here she befriends a little girl, Marie, the unwanted daughter of a prostitute.  The bond between Marie and Rose becomes so great that when the latter decides to marry Dr Libois, the little girl tries to kill herself...
