Summary
The Pont-Biquet family are an unconventional menagerie. The
father is a judge who is stricken with deafness for three hours every
time he is called upon to fulfil his conjugal duties. The mother
is overbearing and bad-tempered by nature. The son-in-law is
something of a clown...
