When his girlfriend Audrey lets him know that she wants to have his child, Eric Vincent is unsure how to react.  Never having known his own father, he cannot see himself in the role.  Then, coincidentally, he receives a telephone call from a stranger. Jean Arp, who claims to have been a close friend of his father.  Arp lets him know that his father has recently died and asks him if he would like to take possession of an urn containing his ashes.  Eric agrees and heads over to Arp’s house to collect the urn.  A short time later, whilst in a service station, Eric is captivated by a young woman named Cécile.  He then receives a sharp blow to the head and the next thing he knows is waking up in his car the next day.  His first thought is that he has been robbed.  But he still has his wallet.  The only thing he is missing is the urn...
