Overview
La Brèche de Roland is a French film comedy-drama first released in 2000,
directed by Arnaud Larrieu and Jean-Marie Larrieu.
The film stars Mathieu Amalric, Cécile Reigher, Anaïs Chunleau, Julien Rivière and Gilles Quessette.
It has also been released under the title: Roland’s Pass.

Synopsis
Early into middle-age, Roland decides to fulfil his dream, to climb to
the Brèche de Roland, a spectacular natural gap in the Pyrenees
on the Franco-Spanish border. His wife Mireille and their two
teenage children, Maxime and Claire, are less enthusiastic.
However, the expedition provides an opportunity for the family to
exchange confidences, and Claire is surprised to learn that her father
is not what he seems...
