Summary
Monsieur Boniface is a happy soul. His job as a window dresser
allows him to indulge his artistic leanings and he enjoys working with
the shop assistant Irène, whom he hopes one day to marry.
Liked and respected by all who know him, he could not be happier.
Then, one day, something happens that obliterates the calm of his
well-ordered existence. He finds a dead body in his bed!
And not just any body – it is the body of a gangster! Before he
knows it, Monsieur Boniface is being abducted by a gang of hoodlums who
intend to silence him forever...
