Summary
When the old Baron of Mondésir dies, he leaves his entire estate to his
illegitimate son Bienaimé, the village postman. The
baron’s former mistress Erika contrives to rob Bienaimé of his
fortune but her efforts are frustrated by the fact that her victim is
in love, with the postmistress Janine...
