L’Avant dernier is a French science-fiction film first released in 1981, directed by Luc Besson.  The film stars Pierre Jolivet and Jean Reno.  It has also been released under the title: The Final Combat.  Our overall rating for this film is: good.

Luc Besson’s first work as a director was this short film about one man’s struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic  world.  He re-made the film a few years later as Le Dernier combat .
