Synopsis
One beautiful summer afternoon, in a forest in the South of France, old
Mr Andesmas is sitting on the terrace of a house he has just bought for
his daughter Valérie. He has arranged
to meet up here with Michel Arc, a builder. Mr Andesmas is in no
hurry. He sits and waits patiently, amusing himself with the
things he sees and hears whilst reflecting on the memories of a long
and happy life. In place of Mr Arc, his wife turns up and opens
her heart. It appears that Valérie is in love with Mr Arc
and intends to start a new life with him...
