Summary

On the eve of the French presidential election in 1981, Primo and Gabrielle, two 18-year-olds, meet. She is a fully paid up member of the Parisian bourgeoisie. He is the son of a modest shopkeeper from the provinces. Dazzled by the charm of Gabrielle and her female entourage, Primo pretends to be something he is not. What he lacks in ready cash he more than makes up for in audacity and imagination...
