Summary
Pauline is a wealthy heiress who is married, against her will, to
François, one of her father’s employees. When her husband
lets her know of his decision to leave her, Pauline is incensed and
leaves a message on his answer-phone in which she threatens to kill
him. That same evening, François is dead, apparently the
victim of a road accident. At the funeral, Pauline is accosted by
Alexis, one of her household staff, who tells her that he has fulfilled
her wish. It was he who murdered François. It seems
that Pauline is not the only one with a vindictive streak...
