Synopsis
From the skies above Naples comes an official announcement that the world will end in a few hours.  Sceptical at first, the town’s population soon begins to take the message seriously and divide themselves into those who seek contrition for a lifetime of sins and those who intend to indulge in one last fling.  This is how a widower who has for years honoured the memory of his beloved wife gives in to lust for a pretty young blonde.  He does not notice that the object of his desire is in cahoots with a crook, who profits from the distraction by stealing his wallet.  How will the people of Naples react when their day of judgment is postponed...?
