Synopsis
In this powerful indictment of our capitalist system,
the seductive glamour of the car salesroom is contrasted with the
dehumanised process by which workers
manufacture automobiles in a modern plant. Beneath
the shiny surface of consumerism there is something ugly, the
subjugation and exploitation of human effort to service a flawed
ideology, the ideology of free market capitalism.
