Synopsis

A filmmaker decides to make a personal study of Jansenism, a stringent form of Catholicism which thrived in the 17th Century. Through readings and discussions, the filmmaker and his team are enlightened by a rigorous religious doctrine and its own singular philosophy which inspired and shaped many great minds of the time.
