Summary
During an assignment in Afghanistan, star reporter Elsa Casanova is taken hostage by the Taliban.  Aware that Casanova is likely to be executed, a special forces unit is sent to rescue her.  In a landscape that is as hostile as it is beautiful, a desperate race against time ensues in which hardened soldiers attempt to snatch the unfortunate journalist from her murderous captors.  It will be a perilous adventure in which the captive and her rescuers will form a bond that is both violent and intimate.  But will they survive to tell the tale?

Terrible effort in trying to make a movie about a country at war.  The script, direction and specially Diane Kruger, are worse than each other.  Unrealistic action sequences showing the five guys from the French special forces killing hundreds and hundreds of Taliban.... If they were so good they would have brought peace and democracy to Afghanistan by now...  A typical war propaganda movie to attract young kids to join the army and be ’Special’.  A waste of time and money.
