Synopsis
June, 1940.  At an asylum near to Orleans, a psychopath named Fernand is interned with his wife, Alida, and their teenage son Julien.   As the German army advances on the town, the staff at the asylum are the first to flee, followed by their patients.  Fernand and his family take refuge on a farm where they are offered work.  Julien begins an affair with a girl called Lucie, an affair which really could liberate him and his parents...
