Synopsis
News radio station R2I sends its best reporter, Frank Bonneville, and his sound engineer, Albert Poussin, to Iraq to make a special report on the country.  Albert is suffering from chronic depression after learning that his wife has just left him; he doesn’t yet know that this was the result of a one night stand that his wife had with Frank.  When Albert loses the money and air tickets, the two men decide to fabricate their news stories and send in reports from Paris.  Things get a little out of hand when they pretend to have been taken hostage and a national campaign is launched to get them released...
