Summary
In 1880, Antoine Espérandieu leaves his native France after an ill-fated romantic adventure and goes west, hoping to start a new life in Arizona.   When he finally reaches his destination after a long and traumatic journey, Antoine is shocked when he learns that his friend Jules, with whom he had hoped to make his fortune, has been shot dead.  Jules’ killer is none other than the local bandit Dynamite Jack, who delights in terrorising the entire town.   One day, Antoine agrees to play a game of poker with the much feared bandit.   He is foolish enough to win and only just evades being Dynamite Jack’s next victim through the intervention of the Irish Clan, led by the wild and beautiful Pegeen.  Afraid that his trigger-happy enemy will return to exact a horrible vengeance, Antoine shaves off his prominent moustache and beard, only to discover that he is now the exact double of Dynamite Jack!
