Du jour au lendemain (2006)

Du jour au lendemain is a French film comedy first released in 2006, directed by Philippe Le Guay.  The film stars Benoît Poelvoorde, Bernard Bloch, Anne Consigny, Constance Dollé and Anne Le Ny.  Our overall rating for this film is: good.


Poor François is experiencing the Monday from Hell.  Everything that can go wrong does go wrong.  After being kept awake all night by his neighbours’ dog, his coffee machine explodes in his face, his rubbish bag spills its contents all over the floor, and when he finally makes it in to the office after a nightmarish journey via the metro, he is subjected to a round of gratuitous abuse from his boss.  But the next day, everything is different.  Nothing goes wrong.  Even  François’ boss seems to be a changed man, apologising to him instead of threatening to sack him.  François is intrigued.  Just what could have happened to make the world so pleasant all of a sudden?
