Summary
Inspector Hartmann is assigned to look into a spectacular wave of
suicides that is sweeping Berlin. His investigation leads him to
an attractive young woman, Sonja Vogle, whose portrait appears on
screens throughout the country promoting the holiday company Theratos. The latter is owned
by Sonja’s adopted father, the powerful media magnate Heinrich
Marsfeldt. It transpires that many of the suicide victims were
known to have signed up with Theratos shortly before they died, so to
resolve the mystery Hartmann and Sonja decide to try the Theratos
experience for themselves...
