Synopsis
Paul Dedalus realises that his life is a mess.  He is approaching 30 and he is stuck in a part-time university teaching job that he hates whilst writing a PhD thesis he cannot finish.  He is in a long-standing relationship with a woman he does not like.  Then he falls in love with the girlfriend of his best friend.  What is he going to do?

Film Review
This engaging romantic drama takes a wry look at mid-life crisis and features an exceptional cast. The film is perhaps over-long and could have benefited from some judicious pruning, but its distinctive style and convincing characterisation makes it one of director Arnaud Desplechin’s most thoughtful and appealing films to date.
