Synopsis
Tulipe Barbaroux is a shy young man who works as a printer’s assistant.  He is in love with his boss’s daughter, but, to resolve his financial problems, his boss has no option but to find a rich husband for her daughter.  Devastated by this news, Tulipe tries to kill himself.  He fails but his broken heart is replaced by that of a rooster in a bizarre heart-swap operation.  The effect of this transplant on Tulipe is remarkable.  Instead of the timid, self-pitying loser, he is now a confident and amiable seducer.  But his good fortune does not end there...
