Summary
Returning from a hunt, an Inuit Canadian named Tivii learns that he
must present himself with his family on a health boat for a medical
examination. When he is diagnosed with tuberculosis, Tivii leaves
his wife and children to be treated in Quebec. He is sent to a
hospital where no one speaks his language and where his customs make
him an object of fun amongst the other patients. Only his
immediate neighbour makes an effort to understand
him...
