Summary
One evening, a man is murdered whilst celebrating with an assortment of friends and acquaintances
at the Café de Paris. Although everyone had a motive to kill the dead man,
an unscrupulous journalist, it soon becomes clear that none of them could possibly have
done it...
Review
The inimitable Jules Berry gives one of his most deliciously unrestrained performances
in this off-the-wall comedy thriller. Intelligent, witty and loaded with suspense,
this is a hugely entertaining blend of whodunnit à l’anglaise and policier à
la française.
