Summary
Unsure what to do with the commode she has inherited, Elisabeth decides to wrap it up in plastic and store it away in the cellar. When she goes into a hardware store to buy some plastic wrapping she is told that if she does this the commode will rot.   She meets another woman, Sophie, who is also worried about the furniture she has in her cellar.  Sophie is warned by her husband Xavier to stay clear of Elisabeth, since he suspects she may be suffering from depression.  Annoyed by this intervention, Sophie gladly accepts Elisabeth’s present of the commode, but then soon finds that her new friend is more intrusive than the useless piece of furniture...
